About the Author About the Author, alright let's see, that’s me! My name's Keri and I cant give you more than that because of all that cyber-stalking crap, so moving on i'm pretty smart, my friends tell me all the time "I use big words", but I just like to read and the words just seep into my vocabulary. Fiction by choice, of pretty much any sub-genre, then biographies then I suppose whatever is left. Meg Cabot and James Patterson, greatest authors known to man; followed by a tight race between Scott Westerfeld Mary Higgins Clark and Kate Brian. I can be a really good writer when inspiration strikes, but that’s not usually often, I’m more of a scienc-y kind of girl. I've written 3 and a 1/2 short stories I’m really proud of that came out well. I'm more of a 10 page research paper/dossier kind of person, I’d rather get to the point. I consider 5 paragraph essays of most topics useless, inefficient and simply busy work. I'm not exactly what you'd call creative; though as mentioned I do enjoy writing short stories. I play tennis pretty much year round and run track in the spring. Music is extremely important to me and I listen to it every chance I get. I know a lot about my favorite bands and artists and subsequently their genres; though barely anything outside the realm of my taste. I have a varying taste and a wide array of selection. My friends mean the world to me, but only the closest know what it's like past the great wall. Sometimes I articulate really well and can explain or persuade anything, other times I’m seized with word vomit and cannot speak my thoughts. I tend to come off rude to people, something I’m aware of but cannot seem to change. If you could crawl inside my mind and see the inner workings, you'd realize it's not really that bad. I plan on going to college, the best one I can, but to study what is still a mystery even to me; probably a double major of Business, specifically of an Entrepreneurial nature and some sort of Science/Math career. Very vague I’m aware, but I’ve got time. I'm extremely picky, whether it be food, phrasing, teachers, or type of history. (I love U.S. History from the Revolutionary War to present including the workings of Government, but am oblivious to politics. I pretty much hate Global History past medieval times (which I love), but really enjoy English Government and French Leaders. See what I mean?) Let me talk long enough and you'll never hear the story that got me started, instead something much, much different. I hate stand up comedy and generally need a few seconds for jokes to click in. I laugh constantly and obnoxiously at memories of things from previous conversations or the day before. Once I get going you best give up on all hope to get me to stop, it won’t work. Weird things set me off, facial features and tone of voice more so than what people say, and since I’m the only one to interpret things this way most others don’t find it nearly as funny as I do, if at all. My absolute biggest criticism in the world is double standards.
